Bedroom Set

I received these pieces as part of a set that I purchased for a customer. She only wanted the dressers (you can see them in a later post). Everyone paints these sets in a fresh coat of white. Which I like but I wanted to try something a little different. I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Graphite. It is sealed with a clear coat of wax and a coat of white wax to bring out the detail.  This is a different look than what I usually try. But after looking at it, I think it would be so great in a boy or a girls room. In a girls room, it looks a little like stone so you could play on the stone castle look. For a boy it reminds me of blue prints. You could put maps with the blue print feel on the wall or blue prints of trucks and planes. Here are some links to some ideas:

The possibilities are endless! Anyway, I hope you like this unique look that I tried. It is for sale for $200. Contact me for more information.

If you don't like this look but have something of your own that you would like painted- let's connect and give your piece a fresh clean look! For more examples of my work, you can find them at PaintedOwlDesigns.blogspot.com and you can find me on Facebook and Instagram at @PaintedOwlDesigns
