Minty Green
This cute little bedside table was so much fun to paint. I played around with mixing colors and came up with this fresh mint color. Can't you just picture it in a nursery (boy or girl) with white and grey accents? Or in a little girl's room with gold and hot pink accents. It would even be great in a sun room or a guest room. There are so many options! Take a look at the before and after pictures. I used a mixture of Old White, Antibes and a touch of Paris Grey. It has been sealed with clear wax. New knobs have been added as well. $130 contact me for more details.

More on the way!!!!
These are my latest treasures! Wait to see what happens to them or contact me about commissioning one especially for you. Better hurry!
Coffee Table- Sold
When I saw this table, I knew I had to have it. I loved the sized. I loved the shape. I just knew I had to get it in my car! Once I got it home, it was determined that it needed some serious work. It was wobbly, coming apart and very dirty. So I cleaned it up and took it apart. I believe that at one point in it's life, it was a tall kitchen table and someone cut it to make it short. It has the runners for a leaf underneath. Whoever did cut it down just used a bunch of random screws to put it back together. My fiancé helped me to to build a more sturdy bottom and we put it all back together. Now it is a solid piece. I used Annie Sloan Old White for the bottom potion and sealed it with a clear wax. On the top, I sanded it down, stained it with a classic grey and sealed it with a matte polyurethane. The dimensions are 42W x 18H.
I loved this piece and hated to let it go. But there will always be more to paint!
Jewel Tone-Sold
I am a sucker for jewel tones. I picked this little table up a from a thrift store with no real plans for it. After several weeks of looking at its bare wood, I got an email with the Annie Sloan newsletter that highlighted the different shades of green she was currently playing with. I feel in love with the Amsterdam green. I love the richness of the color. I knew this little table was going green! So I stabilized the legs and got to work. It is finished with a clear wax a little bit of sanding. This piece is great as a bedside table, in an entry way or even as a side table in a living room. Contact me for price. The dimensions are 28H x 23 1/2W

Check Mate
My fiancé has always had a dream of a Sherlock Holmes type chess table set up in front of a fireplace at our house. So as we started to rearrange the house, we decide to start making that dream come true. We searched for the perfect table. One Saturday we came across a hexagon shaped table. He loved it so we scooped it up. We looked at the Annie Sloan options and decided what would go in our downstairs living room. We settled on Graphite and Duck Egg Blue with a dark wax on top. We kept the original hardware. I painted the base and Clayton taped off and painted the chess squares. And now on snowy days in CO we can sit by the fire and play chess.
It all started with a buffet
It all started one afternoon as I saw a neighbor put a piece of furniture out on the curb. At first sight I thought it was a good idea they were getting rid of it. That thing was awful. A couple of more drive bys had me thinking... it is kind of interesting...those are cool knobs...it really could be a great piece. So I suckered my fiancé into the car and stopped and had him help me load it up. We brought is home and placed in the garage which is where is sat for several weeks. Then we went on vacation and stumbled upon a little store that restores furniture with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Now I had heard of Annie Sloan several years ago but had forgotten all about it. But this little shop opened my eyes to all the beautiful colors and possibilities. My mind was racing and I was so excited to get home, get some paint and tackle my little free 99 piece.
Once we made it back to Colorado, I got to work. I picked out the Napoleonic blue (Which is stunning!) and I grabbed some cream for the inside. Now Annie Sloan says no prep is needed for chalk paint, but its a good thing I scrubbed it first. It was dirty! I decided to use some brass scrubber for the knobs to bring out the shine. I love the knobs! I sealed the final product with a clear wax. This piece would look beautiful in an entry way, in a kids room, or as a t.v. stand. It was my first piece and inspiration to continue creating. So for now, it is in my living room. Maybe one day I will part with it.
